Father, I come to you like David said.... early to seek your face. I come to lift up my sister friend, my brother friend in the name of Jesus, Lord this mountain that has them up and pacing the floor, sitting in a pool of tears, pain and questions, we come to pull it down in the name of Jesus. Lord for those who have lost their saltiness, we speak restoration this morning, in the name of Jesus, those who have been the victim of Emotional and Physical rape of one who claimed to have loved them, then walked away.... Lord for the tears that will not cease from falling from their face, only YOU know the number of tears and are able to capture, count and control. Thank you Lord. When our soul has fainted from hunger and thirst for more of you, Lord restore us, heal and deliver us. From all the darkness that surrounds us on the job, in school, on the highways, in the grocery store, in our homes.... Lord, let Your light shine through us to the darkness around. Help us keep our tongue, help us to speak words seasoned with grace so that others may see YOU, through us. Lord for the family going through a grievous time right now, over the lost of a loved one, comfort them, only Your arms are big enough to reach down and touch that mother, that father, that sibling, that seems to have endless tears, endless questions and a pain that no one else can understand. Father, God.... I thank You in the name of Jesus, as I touch and agree with my sista, my brother, for their own individual victory I thank you for turning their mourning into dancing, their sadness and sorrow into joy and laughter, their pain into power... Lord, keep them covered in your blood and under the shadow of Your wings as their/us great protector and shelter. Lord for those who You have called and chosen and they are having to walk the walk many times what seems like alone, encourage, comfort and strengthen them for the work that only You are aware of. Be a constant presence with those whose families, friends and loved ones have walked away from, protect the traveler who is called to walk through the valley of the shadow of death with no one, be with the woman who you have called to sit at your feet and cry out, be with the man whom you have called to come out and to come higher.....in Jesus name, amen, amen and amen.
