Father, in the Name of Jesus: We humbly seek Your face, as we rise to a brand new day. We know that all our help comes from Thee, and all good and perfect gifts, come from above, from the Father of lights. We need a touch from You today, like never before. Many are in despair and discouraged because of a lack of finances, but the real problem is poor money management, and undisciplined spending. Even many Christians have gotten caught up in buying things to keep up with the Jones’, instead asking for wisdom and guidance from above. Married couple struggle, because one wants what she thinks she got a have, and the spouse thinks he wants what he wants. Then there are the children, who have been raised on pleasures’, fall in the same trap of entitlement. Heavenly Father: Help us to refocus and get back on track, praying for wisdom and guidance and being led by the Spirit before we go running off to Pharaoh and his people in business. Some spend more time shopping , than reading the Bible, the whole year. Forgive them for misplaced priorities, where they use things and abuse people. Deliver them from commercialism and materialism, to focus on submission and commitment to Christ and the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father: Open their eyes that they may see the deception of Satan, misuse, misappropriation, and mismanagement, that destroys family unity and creates more dysfunctional families. Many will spend their time arguing and bickering over not being able to spend proper family time, when neither use good judgment of finances and resources. Give us wisdom and understanding that we may seek Your will and not the ways of the world. It is not about buying toys, laptops, I Pods, the latest fashions, and cars it’s about honoring our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be all the glory. In Jesus Name; AMEN!!!!!!!
