Shaun Daly monstered his opponents throughout the afternoon and linked up well with his stablemate Josh Duffy. 16 year old Alex Barnes had a terrific day out kicking 3 goals and Liam Bourke had a day out scooting around the forward line. Coach Ferguson was thrilled with the commitment to the contest and singled out the defensive unit for an excellent performance. " It was important to not let the young opposition into the game at any stage and the boys followed the game plan brilliantly. Sandgate were willing and no doubt will be a force in the competition sooner rather than later" The reserve grade also put in a strong performance to lead all day to finish with a solid win making it two years in row that the Tigers have taken out the daily double. The boys now face an in form Maroochy Northshore at home on Saturday Goal Kickers: A. Barnes 3, L. Faulkner 2, C. Brown 2, J. Gillett 2, L. Bourke 2, C. Sellen , D. Smith , T.
