Feed the hungry,and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. You will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes. ISAIAH 58:10-12. Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble. The LORD protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies. The LORD nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health. PSALM 41:1-3. If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD— and he will repay you! PROVERBS 19:17. Be openhanded and freely lend them whatever they need. DEUT 15:8. PRAYER :- Oh Lord, Grant us, then, the grace of giving with a spirit large and free, that our lives and all our living we may consecrate to thee. Help us to help people around us put on smiles. And as we help people now and ever more, may all that U promised follow and over take us. IJN. Amen.
