Feels like the first time talking to my dad in so long and we stay in the same city...Really was holding on to a lot of anger and pain in for awhile..Blamed him not being there for a lot of the dumb shit I did and the trouble I got into. For the loneliness I felt when I couldnt talk to none of the homies about my problems. All them times I needed a father figure or someone to look up to... Shit I know a lot of us can agree, but decided to shoot him a text and hopefully rebuild our relationship and fix things. I could complain about not having him there growing up and the shit he put us thru as a family.but a lot of us can complain about growIng up without a dad. Now that Im a little older Im looking at the situation way different , a lot of kids dont even get the chance to meet their dad. I feel lucky enough to get the chance to even fix things with him. Time to man up and just let the past go. #positiveapproach
