Fellow Brewtopians, as many of you may already know or have recently become aware of, after innumerable shots of espresso, a mountain of roasted beans, enough coffee to flood Bay City Hall a second time, hundreds of hours of bluegrass, enough frappes to replenish the polar ice caps, many memorable musical performances, and countless cups of coffee consumed whilst discussing the day’s events with so many of you that I’ve had the pleasure to serve these past six years, I have decided I am ready to move on to the next chapter in my life, and have signed papers conferring Brewtopia Coffee to new owners – Kevin and Michele Clements. Since this past Wednesday, whilst the shop has been closed, they have been diligently at work giving it a fresh look and feel, as well as making some long overdue updates. I have also been working alongside them, revealing to them the secrets and mysteries of the Brewtopian Way, to ensure that the quality and consistency of the coffee you have come to regard as the “Best in the Tri-Cities” remains just that. You will have the opportunity to see my grudgingly smiling face a few more times in the coming days, as I will remain behind the bar during the first few weeks after the grand re-opening THIS TUESDAY, the 18th. “So what will you do now”? Such is the question that is reverberating through the hearts and minds of every denizen of our fair city. I plan to do many things, but among my immediate goals are: scaling the highest mountain, sailing the mightiest ocean, climbing the tallest tree, and consuming the largest pizza. With all sincerity, I want to thank you all so very much for your support, your friendship, and making these past six years some of the best I’ve ever had. I hope you will continue to enjoy and support the shop, and make Brewtopia your first choice for top quality specialty coffee drinks, fresh roasted whole bean coffee, delicious baked goods, and bizarre, out of place paperback copies of German romance novels… -Aaron
