Finally! My third cup of coffee of the day. The one I really savor and enjoy! :) THAT chicken, Bossy! She escaped from the pen and I looked everywhere for her. Thought the cat got her and then I found her in the garden. Guess I need to put up some chicken wire as that chain link fencing is NOT going to keep her in. Now she is back in the box in the bathroom with a piece of wood trellis over the box and a stone on top to keep her in there tonight! LOL Got all the dead plants pulled from the garden piled and layered with old hay and manure (which I mucked out of the stalls). Worked on snow fence. Closed the gate on the driveway and let the horses graze the yard. There is still some green grass and they did NOT want to go back to the barn/pasture for the night. Has been a busy, productive and good day at the homestead! :-)
