Finally, after years of searching, I have found the song. I heard this when I was younger, it was played to a dance at Bonnie Siscoes recital. Could remember parts of the dance, but could never remember the song words, just the music. I dont remember how old I was when I heard and saw the dance, but I do remember loving the grace of the dancers and how the song fit so well. I wonder if others remember the dance I am talking about.
