Philippians 4:8 NIV Everyone wants to know the true, be told the truth. We all want to be noble, to be thought of with respect. Pure, we want things to be clean without flaw. We all want and need to be admired and feel lovely as well as loved. We look for excellence in our football team, our employer, our children, our government, our spouses, and many other things in life that will never be able to live up to our expectations. But we look for these in the things of life, if only we would look to our creator, God Almighty. God is all these things and more, nothing is pure, good, noble, true, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy, except the Lord of the universe!
