Finally done my linked in profile - done quite a lot it appears ... Id describe myself as Focused and Driven , able to adapt to change , my experience is various in terms of community development as a specialty subject . As an active volunteer Ive been involved with various organisations in the voluntary sector and have a clear understanding of both local and national politics and how they work in terms of the social and economic structures in society. Currently working on environmental project to keep an area of canal clean and tidy , its supported by Keep Britain Tidy and the Canal and Riverside trust , my role is as Voluntary event team leader Ive been involved in the past with local government - Governance Experience in governance - School governor at one point to 3 local schools Trustee to CAB Advice centres in Sandwell . Chair of a community association . Currently involved with a community association in development . Secretary - Barnford park & Farm road Allotments association Ex secretary to Friends of Rowley libraries . Volunteer - wildlife trust currently working on a project in the west midlands to develop a nature reserve at Rowley hills .
