Finally found the courage to say this, if only I could fly over. Youre in a better place now with your beautiful wife Vaitofiga, but.. Alafua will never be the same w/out you two. I will most likely be drowned in tears if ever entering your driveway, I surely did when Nana Vai passed. You both may be my Grand aunty & uncle but everyone knows I considered you both my grandparents due to everything youve done for me. Right now, knowing that your presence back home is not with us no more, my trip of visiting home is a lot more harder. It wont be the same. Not being able to see you two sitting outside the veranda talking about anything & laughing about everything will not be the same. Watching from the side, your love for Nana Vai I admire so much! The countless stories you speak will always be with me. Our drives to random places and sing along is locked up and treasured. Im going to miss the nerve you have of mocking my singing in my room and dance moves? Lol. Then stealing your food and making sure I was always full hahaha. I sit here in tears because at the time I was about to sit my exams for my final year in Samoa, you and Nana Vai shared tears w/ me saying I can and will go far in life if I 100% believe in the work I do. Treating me like your own grandchild, child.. I will never forget the mass love, support & belief you had within me. Heres a lil something on the behalf of the Dunedin Aiga.
