Finally saw Django Unchained. Im not sure how Tarantino does it, but he always manages to surprise me in unique ways for each of his movies. This one was no exception. The way the story played out was very clever. Great writing and characters for both the protagonists and the antagonists, plus exceptional action and costume design. Add to that the usual quirky editing and catchy music of Tarantinos films and youve got quite the film! 9/10! Also this means I have now seen every Quentin Tarantino film to date and, to be honest, this one might be my new favorite.....Of course, I do really like westerns so that helps.
