Finally time to go back to Sarah and explore what she was doing with HER nutrition..now remember there are different protocols but this is what worked for her..and works for a number of other clients.. 1.Frequency of meals..she ate 4 meals..and one post workout shake(Phd pharma whey).. 2. Protein..she had protein in ALL meals..ie eggs for breakfast (3 whole eggs..keeps yolks in)..fish such as salmon/mackeral/red meats such as steak...chicken, turkey, tuna, prawns....whatever protein sourse she wanted..MOST people undereat...so protein needs to be increased. 3.Fats...most people are afraid of fats...but taking in the right amount will make you leaner...so she cooked in coconut oil or real butter..she had high fat fish...used nuts, advocado, extra virgin olive oil...and extra omega 3 fish oil. 4. Carbs...she had these in her final meal ONLY...she choose between sweet potatoe, rice and normal potatoe..gluten free(only try a client off it for 2 weeks, when she put it in Sarah didnt react well to it so we kept it out)...on a Sunday she had more carb meals...and yes after her initial first 2 weeks she had one cheat meal on a Sat night...other options...for some clients they have their carbs post workout...remember different ways to skin a cat :)) it has to fit the clients lifestyle and be easy to sustain.. So thats the main priciples of what Sarah did...worked for her...may or maynot work for you...we are ALL unique..LISTEN and LEARN your own body :)
