Financial Freedom Newsletter 4 REBUILDING AN ECONOMY ONE FAMILY AT A TIME On many previous occasions, I have written that the business of government is to govern. In a political sense it means to rule, and direct the people’s lives. Consequently—and in reality, all governments have to dictate to the people…some are autocrats and some are democrats. I would expect a lot of people, even educated ones, to disagree with this view because; conventional education itself is the cause/effect of our predicament. Education is a course of learning that is limited to previously established boundaries. Consequently, when we talk about things like freedom and development, some educated people become real uncomfortable…thy go by the book and need references and written answers to deal with subject and matter. Most educated people can’t even think for themselves, they are too programmed to have any capacity to even be smart. I am not telling you that the people running governments aren’t smart: I am saying they are so well educated; they are more able to appreciate limitations instead of expansions. Consequently, your understanding of the role government plays in your life may very well be screwed-up. I know that I have always lived as though government is watching everything I do, and listening to every word I say. Consequently, spying on me is the least of my worries, and it may be upsetting to you…I am more worried about them planting some entrapment just because: I could resolve your economic distress, and government may have a totally different plan for you. Without malice or ill will, governments’ education could kick in, and even you will accept their spin. Read the contributing article below, and see if that squares with your view: Why Americans paychecks are shrinking? Companies tax dodges result in the biggest drop in wages since the 1940s, and the numbers may be a sign of things to come. By Jason Notte If the economy is recovering, then why do U.S. workers pockets feel as if theyve been freshly picked? Mark Gongloff at The Huffington Post points out that first-quarter data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, released Wednesday, showed a 3.8% drop in average hourly pay for workers not employed on a farm. Thats the biggest quarterly drop since the bureau started keeping track of such things in 1947, and it takes a big bite out of that feel-good 9.9% boost in hourly pay that occurred in the fourth quarter of 2012. That collective raise came as employers attempted to dodge fiscal cliff and sequester tax hikes, and the latest drop is just more bad news for employees. Hourly pay has grown by an average of 2% a year for the past four years, the weakest four-year stretch on record. Last years 1.9% boost was the third-weakest ever, outdoing only the 1.4% gain at the start of the recession in 2009 and a 1.8% gain in 1994. While thats boosting profits nicely, its not doing a whole lot for employee productivity. Employees output, per hour worked, rose 0.5% in the first quarter, according to the BLS, but it was still weaker than the 0.7% gain for all of 2012 or the 0.6% boost in 2011. All of that is way off the track of 3% average annual gains in both 2009 and 2010. But thats OK. Even when production was up, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development says, productive economies stopped boosting worker pay a while ago. As for the future, dont expect miracles. Even college graduates have seen their average pay decrease by $3,200 since 2000, and 284,000 of them are just grateful to be making minimum wage. While weaker productivity may mean employers will start hiring again now that theyve bled their current workforce for all they can, theres nothing about the trends of the past half-decade to indicate free spending or job creation. The layoffs may be over, but theres no hiring. Unless you want to contribute your paycheck to a kick start a fund for a new co-worker, embrace the stagnation. RESUMING THE REBUILDING HERE… You need to ask your government to help you earn more, so you could pay more taxes to the treasury, and you will see how uncomfortable your elected reps will become. Your government wouldn’t budge because they are educated to force compliance out of you anyway. Governments only cooperate with big slave labor lobbyists, who could lobby on the hill, and pay money to your reps, to touch and retouch any labor bill. Please don’t go begging the government for help; government is not the Salvation Army…they are not in the charitable business! Tell them you want to register an Internet Marketing business, and you hope to hire 10 people: the next day you will get a free tax collection package in the mail. That is both license and motivation, to pursue your financial freedom…that is as good as it gets! Don’t let the tax collection package scare you: embrace the opportunity to pay more taxes for the reality of earning more income. My business is to help you share in the wealth created by the income, in the form of homeownership, and you will be ready to pay more taxes when you sell. My work is to coach you how to use your time and energy that I call “Sweat-Equity” to get some “Home Equity” before paying taxes. A home is a capital investment, and you now pay a mortgage with after tax slave-wage dollars, and ‘that’ is economic sacrilege…’that’ must change, to stop the world from plunging into poverty. I think that the US government will like this change—even if it is only for bragging rights—but their education is hanging over their heads like an anvil. Government gives you the license to do a business, but they can’t tell you what to do—or else—you end up doing the same old monkey business. “You can’t sell, and could only make a profit from big slave wages lobbyists isn’t that stupidness?” By simply giving away a flyer that advertises a service, you could earn $10,000 a month!” Would ten thousand a month, in profit, added to your wages, be helpful in rebuilding your economic family?
