First J league game for our U10 black team, and the team was - TopicsExpress

First J league game for our U10 black team, and the team was cerainly in good spirits before KO, so much so some players had forgotten this was the first game of the new season.... Locke had been appointed Captain of the day, and he led the team out onto the pitch with pride. Not having played Football Plus before at U10 we were keen to analyse their formation 1 3 3 which provided our Playmakers in the centre of the park, more room than was expected and William was able to find Keira (striker) on a number of occassions, following Keiras intelligent movement off the ball (great work Keira). Keira then scored the Blacks teams first goal in the J League with a tidy finish and quickly followed up with a second. 2-0 up and J League nerves were settled. Alex scored the third, after some neat footwork to cut inside his player, Ayush - Callum Callum (two assists from Monty) and Ayush scored goals 4,5,6,7 to make the final score 7-0. Stand out perfomances from Makoh who had looked sharp in training on Sunday morning, and was indeed on top of his game during the match, and Keira for fine movement.... Man of the match is awarded for Keira for executing what we had been learning practice (strikers creating space for themselves and losing their marker, dragging defenders out of position) perfectly.... Lockes post game analysis concluded the team have to work harder off the ball and keep the passing simple.... Credit to Football plus for working hard, we really enjoyed the game and are looking forward to playing with your team in round 2. Special mention to Football Plus goal-keeper who made some super saves
