First of all let me preface this post by stating Ray Rice was wrong and the suspension handed down to him was a joke. BUT I do also have a problem with this suspension of Stephen A Smith. He merely was making a point that NEEDS to be made yet it hidden behind all of this mayhem that happened. At no point did he condone hitting a woman or domestic violence. He stated a correct point that these women out here should not provoke these types of situations. I will never tell my boys its okay to hit a woman but to try to do everything in their power to remove themselves from the situation or restrain her if possible. HOWEVER I am also going to tell them it is not okay to be physically or verbally abused by ANYONE. It is NOT in a womans place to provoke anyone to hit them and assume because they should not, they will not. Thats the point he was making and that I 100% agree with and stand by. Thoughts???!
