First off, I would like to thank each and everyone of you that has truly, diligently, and consistently prayed for me since our car accident on May, 17th, during which I was paralyzed. There are no words that can truly express my gratitude. I have been on quite a journey, which I am still on, and I have been silent about it for awhile because I have been overwhelmed physically,, mentally,, and spiritually. and was in a dark place for awhile as the grave reality of my situation set in. Even though I know that Satan loves to pray on our faith when we are at our weakest,- emotion and illness can challenge our strongest knowledge and beliefs. In Matthew 18:19 the Bible says that Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.. While during the past seven months I have certainly have had my ups, (most recently I was able to move my toes on my right foot beginning the night before Thanksgiving) - and downs (the following week I was stricken with yet another bladder infection and am still struggling with bladder spasms, as well as many of the physical problems Ive experienced since the accident) I have definitely felt Gods spirit lifting me up and providing me the strength to carry on. I have been standing on the verses: Psalms 103:2-3 - Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases; (NIV); Jeremiah: 30:17A. But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord… (NIV) and James 5: 15-16 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (NIV). By sharing that, I am asking all of you true prayer warriors to please regularly lift me up in prayer, based on Gods word that I just shared, and to specifically ask him to completely heal me as we enter into the new year, so that I can serve as a testament to his faithfulness and power. All of the glory from my healing will be bestowed to God for the rest of my life. I have completely changed my life track already, knowing that I will be doing Gods work, and yearning deep in my soul to do just that as I did at a younger age. He has already opened doors, and led me to pursue opportunities that I would not have otherwise even recognized. Please pray specifically as I am, and have faith that he will heal me, so that all of the others that I am in contact with, or come into contact with in my lifetime and even those that hear my story after I am no longer on this Earth, will know that God is with us always, his faithfulness never waivers, and that he can and does perform miracles. Thank you in advance for the ongoing constant group and individual prayers that I know you will sincerely provide. God Bless each and everyone of you.
