First time in Pune: Pizza served per slice at Largo Pizzeria Finally, Punekars get a chance to eat the pizza the way it is shown on those lifestyle TV channels. Yes, we now have the very first pizzeria in town that serves large pizzas but per slice! Of course we rushed to Viman nagar where Largo Pizzeria is located and tried out their stuff. Tried out is really an under-statement but we literally hogged on those huge slices of Italian Pizzas. Very happy with the first impression of the place which is very basic but has a classy feel to it. Anyways, we would like to concentrate more on food. Recipe, originally Italian makes it for very flavourful bites of Largo Pizzas. Freshly hand-mixed dough rolled into a thin-crust, topped with home-made tomato sauce and a blend of different cheeses; is baked on a rolling belt oven. Very very happy to taste a pizza which is flavourful and doesn’t feel like bread in any of the bite. Pizza dough has ample amount of olive oil in it which makes it a crisp yet soft base. Toppings is a different story here at Largo. They are fresh, they are perfect in quantity and support the all-over flavours of sauce and the base. Cheese is not in loads here and this makes sure that the pizza doesn’t go high on calories. Also you can try out different types at a time as you have some space left for one more slice because of limited quantity of cheese. Definitely worth every penny you spend, this place is a must visit. Write this down, Largo has brought in a new-age Pizzeria to our town and for those who are not fortunate enough to travel to Italy for original pizzas, this is truly a blessing!
