Fiscal mismanagement can cause further chaos if the Federal budget to be determined this October for next fiscal year continues to increase. The Republicans have already intimated their intention to not fund any increases in the budget. This is expected to cause a government shutdown, even partially. Compounding matters is the increasing interest rates of Treasury bonds because it will dampen the house market, increase business costs, and considerably burden further the servicing of the existing government debt while the economy is still in financial straits. Internationally, there is an existing currency war currently being waged by the major economic nations in the world. There is also a move by some nations to cease recognizing the dollar as the official world currency. Nations all over the world are also undergoing economic slowdown. The E.U., itself, is encountering a major recession. Does this sound complicated? If so, add to this the fact that the military and terrorist problems existing in the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Asia are sure to require substantial funding to neutralize the major problems in these areas that threaten the stability and peace of the world at a time of international financial crisis. Now you have all the major explosive ingredients that make the world very volatile. While we are not to fear because our God is our refuge and strength, Jesus also cautioned us to do something.
