Fitness fanatics can save lots of membership fees by planting a garden. A big one. Tonight I donned a pair of waterproof hiking boots that someone who obviously hates my guts gave me. They came up to the bottom of my calves, so my ankles were immobilized. Already awkward. They weigh about 5 lbs apiece. THEN I get down to the pea patch in the mud up to my immobilized ankles. Almost fell a dozen times. My thighs are killing me just from pulling out of that sucking mud from bush to bush!!!
