Five years ago today I said I DO to my one true love, best friend, and soulmate!! I have to share a little about our story…Scott and I have known each other for a long time, as he worked out at the gym where I was working when we first met. And about 10 years before we started dating, we had mutual friends who hung out and there was always this chemistry between us but we never acted on it. Anyway we lost touch, went our separate ways, and then he found me on Facebook (haha!!) 10 years later! I had only had a FB account for a month or so, and prior to that I was soooo anti Facebook, my sis-in-law pretty much set up my account for me! I will say that we both went through a lot before finding each other, ups and downs in life, broken hearts, trials and challenges, but when we finally did come together, it was the right time for both of us and we knew very quickly this was it! He is the ONLY person who truly gets me and accepts and loves me just as I am, crazy and all! In a lot of ways we are the definition of opposites attract and in some ways we are similar. Neither of us is perfect but we always say that together we are perfect for each other! I am the always on the go, high strung, emotional one, (It’s funny but the 3 days of my life that I have been the most relaxed were our wedding day, and both days that I went into labor with our kiddos, haha! Scott says that’s because of him and I think he is right!) and he is the reserved, calm, cool, and collected one. But the things we value in life and what we want for our family are the same. We definitely balance each other out. He is the most loving, giving, and supportive husband to me. And he is a dad who comes home from work and plays with our kids, loves on them, and always helps out! Our life, just like anyone else with two little ones, is fun, crazy and challenging at times, and full of love, and I couldn’t imagine it any different! It’s been a whirlwind 5 years and I’m so happy to have you right by my side on this ride through life! Happy 5th Anniversary baby! Thank you for all you do for us! I love you forever!!
