Fix Your Step Ups with a Mini Side Bend and knee lift hold Demo above: With core switched off, then core switched on If you find yourself using your lower back to perform a step up try this method. First test if you can hold your knee up before stepping without tilting to the sides. If you cant your core muscles arent switched on. Try a mini side bend and poke your obliques to switch them on. Then test if you can lift your leg. If so then try your step up.
