Florida Humanities Council Presents Dreamers & Schemers an Evening with Great Floridians What a presentation, history did come alive! My wife and I attended the free live presentation at the Fort Lauderdale Library last night. It was fantastic, Gene D’Alessandro as Henry Flagler, Betty Jean Steinshouer as Marjory Stoneman Douglas and my favorite Jack Holloway as Napoleon Bonaparte Broward. South Florida and Florida in general is rich in exciting history and events. I love south Florida, that is why I also like to write articles about the history of real estate in south Florida. Contact Alex Buell at 727-873-2001 or [email protected] for more information to bring history alive to your community. I would also like to thank Barbara Miller at [email protected] She is the Program/Exhibits Coordinator for the city of Fort Lauderdale Library. There are other historical presentations in the near future, take advantage of what our city and county provide. South Florida Rich in History !
