Why in the world would you want to be a police officer? They are screwed no matter what. I hear things like why dont the police stop the rioting and looting? But make sure they dont harm or shoot anybody So do it peacefully to people who are being anything but peaceful. And no matter what they do to you only shoot them in the foot or hand. And then if you do defend yourself you are guilty until proven innocent. I have watched the police officers I work with being yelled at, spit at, bottles and rocks thrown at, and disrespected by large groups of people. There are bad people in all professions. I have worked with some piss poor medics. That doesnt make me a piss poor medic. I have worked with some police officers who are horrible and couldnt wipe the toe jam out of my retired police dads toes. But for the majority the police officers I know are good guys. The majority of medics I know are good people. The majority of black people I know are good, hard-working, God-fearing people, and majority of gay people I know are good, hard working people. But I do know people in each group who embarass most of the rest of their group. So maybe, just maybe, we are dealing with a bad cop. Maybe, just maybe, we are dealing with a bad 18 year old. Or maybe it was a combination. So how about we give the FBI a chance to figure out which it was.
