Focusing on the Positive in Shelby County! Last night we were advised that a family of 6 had not returned from their trip to Shelby Forest. So immediatly our deputies began searching the area for any signs of the missing parties, and they did find their van in the park, but no sings of the family. Park Rangers, Emergency Services Volunteers, and a K-9 deputy began searching the deep woods for the family. Just afer 1am, Deputy Simmons and his K-9 located the family and brought them out of the forest where they were checked for injuries and sent safely on their way. Great job to all those involved in the serach!
