Food For Thought Thursdays: A new research paper (under review for publication) from Vanderbilt University suggests that playing with portion sizes of good and not-so-good-for-you foods may be a better strategy than eliminating our vice foods altogether. Kelly L. Haws, associate professor of management at Vanderbilts Owen Graduate School of Management, said that people tend to have a taste-health balance point, suggesting that vice foods are needed in small amounts in the diet to help satisfy these cravings.
