Food requires consumption, which in turn, brings complete satisfaction as it meets the body’s physical needs. Our spiritual bodies are the same way. In order to be sustained, Jesus, His Word, needs to be consumed to that every part of ourselves can be fed, even those parts that our flesh wants to hold on to. There can be no true satisfaction if we only allow our lunch to only nourish certain parts of our body, because the other parts will become emaciated and defective. Some people chose to hang onto weights and sins and so they must reject Jesus because it’s an all or nothing deal. Read more at ouredl.
