#FoodForThought If some people dedicated as much time to their education as they do to entertaining Facebook, we would have a few potential geniuses in the flooding of our timelines. Promote education and actively participate ìn community involvement, then perhaps we will see some productivity throughout these neighborhoods filled with violence and unemployed individuals. Prior to electing cIty officials, be aware of how much effort and time theyve actually dedicated to producing safe and presentable neighborhoods. As a youth and teenager who grew up predominately on the Southside of Jasper, I dont recall seeing political entities walking the streets to ensure safety; they left that all up to the police department. Thats one of the main reasons why police officers have become overzealous and overbearing. Law enforcement have no one monitoring their initial engagement and interactions within the communities. Therefore when something drastic occurs, those who took an oath to protect and serve feel that their actions are justifiable. All Im saying is #KnowYourRightsAndResponsibilities... #ByEducatingYourselves #ResearchAndGainKnowledgeOfPoliticians #EstablishYourIdealCommunities #DoNotJustTalkAboutIt #EngageYourselves
