Football Kenya Federation (FKF) will let the public know whether the national team Harambee Stars will be involved in an international friendly match or not. FKF vice chair Robert Asembo said the football lovers will have the information by this coming Friday 28 February 2014. Saturday -We shall let the public know by this coming Friday if our national team will feature in an international friendly match, Asembo told futaa The international friendly fixtures as visible on FIFA’s official site run from Saturday 1 to Monday 31 March 2014. East and Central Africa countries However, a number of East and Central Africa countries have lined up friendly matches on Wednesday 5 March 2014. Kenya’s closest neighbours Uganda and Tanzania who have already named their squads to do duty in the matches will be away to face Zambia and Namibia respectively. Stars are the reigning champions of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup. South Sudan Elsewhere Burundi will host Rwanda, Bosnia and Herzeqovina to welcome Egypt with South Sudan visiting Botswana. On the other hand South Africa will play 2014 World Cup hosts Brazil in Johannesburg, Senegal versus Mali, Morocco versus Gabon, Congo versus Libya with Algeria taking on Slovenia among other fixtures.
