For 22 years the number 315 has stood at the top of my list of streaks that Ive done over the past 35 years. Each of them has ended for one reason or another, mostly because the streak became more about itself and less about improving my running, so it became a drudgery. Well, today was Day 316 and I enter new streaking territory. And thanks in large part to this group it hasnt become a drudgery at all. Im proud of what this streak has done for my running and racing, and I have a bunch of goals on the horizon. Rather than becoming a drudgery, Im more motivated than ever. Carlsbad 5000 tomorrow, which more importantly will be Day 317. Streak on, friends!
