For St. Louis Rams 2000 Super Bowl Fans: Adam Timmerman signed my vintage Rams Super Bowl hat today. (I will try to make this as compact and brief as possible.) I was at a cross country meet in Cherokee, Iowa . . . where Adam is from and lives today. I had been told that he is an owner of a number of farm implement dealerships in NW Iowa. As we were leaving a remote back parking lot, I saw a pickup truck with the name of the dealerships on the door. I looked and sure enough there stood a giant of a man . . . with the same brush cut as fifteen years ago. I also realized that I was wearing my SuperBowl hat so I told Cathie to stop the van. She was a little confused as I jumped out and told her to meet me in the front of the school. I walked up to him and asked if he was Adam Timmerman. It was him. I told him that we were living in St. Louis in 1999-2000 and I showed him my hat. He was amazed and impressed by the hat. I asked him if he could sign it so he went into the school and found a Sharpie. My hat now says, Adam Timmerman, #62, Rom. 8:31. We reminisced about the 1999-2000 season and the Super Bowl for a while and then I went on my way. It was a lot of fun.
