For all of you IU basketball fans (and Mark Son), let me summarize what I have learned so far this week from perusing all of the IU fan message boards, websites and FB pages –Jeremy Hollowell will be transferring to any college in Colorado that will accept him, the soon to be named coach at Marquette has already asked Luke Fischer to transfer back to IU to help out the program, Johnny Marlin is giving up basketball to purse his first love - deep see fishing, the Simon Family has decided to renege on their planned $40 million donation to IU to renovate Assembly Hall and will instead renovate College Mall as they feel it’s a better return on their investment, Fred Glass was heard muttering the following words “the hell with Bob Knight, get me Lou Watson on the phone” and last but not least, Chronic Hoosier will be changing his FB profile pic from Coach Knight to a 1979 photo of Mike Woodson. As I sit at my desk this morning, one final thought came to my mind, I can’t wait for the home opener of IU football to get here on August 30th because lord knows we never lose a tailgate.
