For all the criticisms and negativity towards Law Enforcement: How many other jobs can you think of that AT ANY MOMENT you could be killed. In situations like the one in this clip, you have milliseconds to assess and react, with your life, the subjects life and rights, and anyone elses life that may be near, at stake. For every five people that are appreciative and thankful for your service, there are twenty that, at best, are wary and distrustful. Every action is scrutinized and often. criticized. I know there are bad cops out there, and people of minority are often treated unfairly by even some decent Officers. We are all humans, we sometimes act from emotions instead of logic and reason. I dont intend this to be an excuse for any wrongs committed by Officers, just a glimpse of the other side.
