For anyone who wants to talk to ME about how We must all get along and let bygones be bygones, I present Ellen Kessler: I am going to make something clear. Very clear. About JA. Shes not all shes cracked up to be. She must have had a hell of an illegal past since no one is able to find any information about her (NOTHING) other than the school she attended and an interview a few years ago about some bad weather. When one deliberately erases their past with such sterile results, it only means one thing. About her group. She collects donations for birds in need. Thats a good thing and I commend the people involved! But Ill bet my last dollar that she uses most of the donations for *personal tax* write-offs. When I worked for a sanctuary and some toys were donated, she hounded me relentlessly for a tax receipt. Couple her non-existent past with *her* write offs, and I can only say hmmmmm. Anyway Im involved in some REAL animal help today at a sanctuary, where more than 100 chickens were removed from an organic egg-laying farm. Some of the birds need medical attention and I will be on the ground helping. Not asking for a tax write-off either. Then later in the week I begin my voluntary job on a prairie dog task force -- helping to remove them before theyre gassed or plowed under for future development. Not asking for a tax write-off there either. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
