For fencers taking our once a year, all day camp, August 5-9th (9 to 4 pm) registration and payment is due by July 19th. Please bring in the registration form and a check, or mail them, if that is easier. You can still attend if you do not pre-register – however there is a late fee for at the door payment. There are no regular afternoon classes that week. The camp sets the tone for the yearly training, and prepares the kids with core training, speed and agility work. We also have much more time to develop technique and the fencers understanding of fencing tactics. We have a great program lined up to include: our popular Historical Fencing Training (two swords), and Skills Testing for various levels (on the Scales) with awards for different levels of skill achievement on the last day (patches and chevrons for their fencing pants). We always finish with both a team competition and individual event, with prizes for all fencers (new sabre for first place in Y14 and one for Y10 too!). Hope to see all of them there.
