OUR AIM: To provide the industries with graduates who are ready, able and capable of assuming the various job requirements thereby increasing productivity and competitiveness of Philippine industries as well as to provide meaningful and accessible education to the under- privileged youth, thereby enabling and transforming them into productive citizens of our country. The Certificate in Manufacturing Technology (CMT) and the Diploma in Production Technology (DPT) and the Certificate in Telecommunications and Broadband Technology (CTBT) courses are the first of its kind in the country. NCST was able to have the CMT, DPT and the CTBT programs registered with the Intellectual Property Office. The curricular content comprises two areas of learning, the school and the industry. This program enables financially challenged students to attend academic and skills-based training in school. During their in-school training, the students are trained in Foreign Language and Culture which is responsive to the industry’s controlling nationality (in the case of our current partners, students are being trained in Nihonggo and English), Information Technology, Values formation and other related technologies and skills that the partner company requires. This program will allow the students to “earn” for a year, support their studies and their families and most importantly, earn a College Degree using our ladderized education system approach.
