For lease or possible sale. Located in Berryville VA Lease price: 200/month Jack is a 5 year old 16.2/16.3hh OTTB gelding. I got him off the track when he had just turned 3, and restarted him slowly and let him just be a baby horse. When he turned 4 I started his training and he has done one unrecognized event at MDHT we did elementary and he did very well for his first time out only had one fault and it was my fault because I forgot the course. He’s a very well behaved horse and does well clipping and standing for the farrier. I would say he wouldn’t be a good fit for a beginner just because like every other horse he has his off days he doesn’t do anything bad hell just plant his feet and say “no I think I’ll just stay here” he needs some that will go no were going to go work then he’ll be fine. He currently only has fronts on because I don’t have time for him to be in full training. Don’t let him fool you just because he’s only been to one event and he’s young doesn’t mean he’s not capable of it he is he’s gone out cross country multiple times we’ve had many stadium and dressage lessons, the only reason he hasn’t gone to more shows is because I just don’t have the resources which is the only reason he’s even up for lease or sale. This horse means everything to me so it will be very hard to let him go but I need to let him go succeed with someone who has the time to make him the best horse he can be.
