There has been questions about whether the police did the right thing, and about why they didnt take a shot earlier in the day when they saw him at the window and all that. Remember that they were not sure who or how many people they were dealing with. It takes time to workout just what they have to face, and the various tactics that they can use. This is why negotiations are key during something like this. These guys have been trained to remain alert with minimal sleep, food etc - and the outcome has been the best that there could be. I think we need to commend these guys on what they have been able to accomplish.
