For more great recipes like this one come by and check out https://facebook/groups/223851651100373/ My Portuguese Biscuits (Portuguese biscoitos) 2 sticks of soft butter( 1 cup ) 9 g Vanilla sugar or (2 tsp vanilla extract) or (2 tsp aguadente) These ones I used Vanilla sugar. 1 1/2 cups sugar 5 eggs 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 4 teaspoons baking powder In a large bowl beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar and butter. Than gradually add flour and baking powder. mix until combined. Place in the fridge for 2 hours covered. It will make it much easier to roll dough. Remove dough from fridge. Preheat oven to 350 Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Scoop up ball sized of dough. Roll between your hands to form snake-like shape approximately 6-7 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Make a circle shape with the dough, overlap the ends and pinch the two ends together. You can make any shape with the dough. If the dough is too sticky to handle at this point, you will need to add a small amount of flour to the dough to make it workable. Place cookies 1-2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
