For my New England Friends; Kast year I made friends with a great family that specializes in root crops and sells them through CSA or in large amounts to folks who want to can or freeze for the Winter. Because of my limited space I buy my root crops from The Hobbit Hole Farm. Last year I got beets carrots and potatoes that were amazing! They grow organically and use only NON GMO seed. If you are in the area and would like to purchase a half bushel or bushel of carrots, beets, turnips, potatoes, let me know or contact them directly. I will be getting a half bushel of carrots and beets this Tuesday to can and freeze. YUMMY!!!!!
