For people who really wanna move on in our business by building a big network - you must become a leader : their are 4 states that sum up people who say they wanna move on! ( wannabe leader ) 1) Never be - some people simply lack the ability to do a particular roll. A never be who is miss directed into an area he shows little potential for often becomes hugely frustrated and negative very quickly - ( you cant turn a bulls lug into a silk purse so to speak ) this wannabe blames others for their lack of success and quickly downs tools !! This is not to say their is no chance they could make it but in the corporate world its unlikely they would survive for 5 mins . in MLM With patience and much time and effort and commitment its not impossible but YOUR patience and understanding and contribution as their upline will need to be considerable. Its like an outsider on the national ! We would all love to see it come home but its got a perilous ride ahead! 2) A Could be - got the gifts and ability potential but lacking in Self- Discipline. He/she may even have superstar abilities but just cant get himself to perform! Just DO IT !!! Springs to mind for gawd sake!! A serious question concerning their driving force is definitely an issue. I have to say though I no longer get excited about people with potential since Ive come to realise how many people with great potential retire having not utilised their potential and end up skint! Skills can be taught! A wining attitude is more difficult! Give me the winning attitude anyday of the week. We see these people so often and we are often left hugely frustrated with them ourselves infact we keep expecting them to do it this time thinking something has changed in them and once again they fail to deliver! They ultimately become like the boy who cried wolf you hear what they say and you think whatever!! Never rely on these people as you cant want it for them more than they want it for themselves ! Such a shame!! They end up looking back with regret - but hey if you get off your **s you can do it :-) 3) A Should be - has raw talent but hasnt yet developed all the skills for harnessing that ability. Needs training. Once given help to develop those skills he will begin to become the person he/she was created to be. Failure for the person to address the areas of development if they keep doing the same and expect different results its a travesty as they would have been one to back! moving them in my opinion back into the previous category ! 4) Must be - The only thing a must be lacks is opportunity. He/she has the right gifts , the right skills and the right attitude . He has the drive to be the person he/she was created to be. Hopefully not a clever dick ! and remains open and willing to listen and learn and commit to working as a team with their mentor and not breaking away prematurely or allowing ego to prevent them from serving their full apprenticeship! Success is inevitable.... One would be naive to think building a big income would happen easily ! Do you recognise any of these in your team? Do you recognise yourself?
