For some the hardest thing in life to do is to totally surrender and submit your life to Jesus Christ. At times it may seem like the oddest thing to do when everyone else around you is doing completely the opposite. They are partying and hanging out seeming like they dont have a care in the world, while you are fasting, praying, attending church, abstaining from premarital relations, etc. Life isnt always what it looks like to the natural eye. Your fellow peers may be having a ball now, but more than likely they will be the first to come running to the Lord when trouble hits them like a flood 5 or 10 years from now. Keep yourselves in line with the Lord, young Saints of God. When trouble hits those friends of yours that are making fun of you serving the Lord, they will need you to come to for prayer, encouragement, and support. By that time, you will be so mature in your walk with Christ, you will be used by God to be that fervent vessel to pull them out of the foothold the enemy has designed for them. What you do for the Lord is not without purpose. Each moment you spend with Christ is essential for the up building of where you, eventually want to be at in life. Once you have put in quality time in with the Lord, it is so much easier to come to the Lord and plead your case. You will be able to ask your Abba Father with boldness and be in great expectancy that it is your time to finally have just what you want from the Lord. One of the worst things you could do is to become overly anxious. This leaves room for the enemy to play on your mind when you dont get exactly what you want. Its not that God doesnt want to give you what you want, it just means its not your time yet. Its not your season yet. Always remember Philippians 4:6-7: Be careful{anxious} for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. God wants to know that you will serve Him regardless of whether you have or not. The Lord will never try to buy your obedience to Him monetarily. The Lord will wait for you to willingly give yourself to him regardless of your current circumstances. This is how you show that you truly love the Lord. When you truly love the Lord, you will be patient as you wait on the Lord. Love is patient: love is kind. You will keep the Lords commandments. You will seek the Kingdom of God FIRST and His righteousness before looking for anything from the Lord. As much as we dont want to realize at times, God is not Santa Claus. We dont come to the Lord only to get things in life. We come to the Lord because we know without Him we will fail. We will be like a ship without a sail. God is our Refuge, our Strength, our Protector from every adversity in life. You need God in every situation in your life. Not just when you desire gifts from God. You need the Lord in every aspect of your life. The enemy will try to distract you in anyway possible. Being impatient is one of them. Being shameful of who you are in Christ is another. Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 1:16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Dont be ashamed of serving Jesus Christ and Jesus will not be ashamed of you before His Father also. Set your affections on things above FIRST. Love the Lord with all your might!!!!! Put God FIRST in your life!!!!!!! Then you will see those things that you have patiently been waiting on unveil right before your eyes. Submit fully to the Lord FIRST!!!!!! Remember God knows your heart. He knows if your really ready for what youve been asking for. Trust the Lords timing. God knows exactly what you need and exactly when you need it. He never arrives a moment too late. Dont get impatient. This will bring on depression, anger, and resentment toward your current situation. Trouble NEVER lasts always!!!!!!!! Weeping may endure for a night but your joy will come with the morning light. Hang in there with the Lord. All those that hate you for serving the Lord now, will love you for it later!!!!!!!!! God wont give you the right stuff at the wrong time; nor will He give you the wrong stuff at anytime!!!!!!!! God is Sovereign!!!!!! God is infallible!!!!!!! What is meant to be in your life is already there. What is not there: well you have to examine the true intents of your heart. Do you want God for who He is? Or do you want God for tangible gifts? Will you serve the Lord regardless of any situation? Will you allow your footsteps to be fully ordered by the Lord? Are you really prepared to take on all that you are asking from the Lord? Be confident in knowing that God knows what you want before you even ask. He knows what you need. And in due time you will undoubtedly reap the harvest of your labor. Your work will never go in vain. Be patient. Be of good courage. Wait on the Lord!!!!!!!!!! Stay focused. Be diligent. And NEVER give up!!!!!!!!!!! Blessed is the one who endures to the end!!!!!!!!! Be blessed!!!!!!!!
