For the past three months I have been on an unbelievable roller - TopicsExpress

For the past three months I have been on an unbelievable roller coaster ride with various diagnosis and degrees of cancer of the distal radius bone in my right wrist. Today I again was reminded of the awsome power of my savior. I returned to the UK Markey Cancer Center for a post surgery follow up doctor visit. He entered the room and said Ive got Good News. The final pathology report of the tumor and the effected bone removed from my right wrist has finally been positively identified as an extremely rare Non-Cancerous benign desmoplastic fibroma of bone tumor. Our immediate response to him was simply PTL! PTL!. There has only been about 100 cases of this type of tumor reported in the US and only 200 known cases throughout the world. The Doctor told us its rarity is what made it so difficult for pathologists to pinpoint. However, I choose to believe that my Lord, the creator of all things chose to change the outcome of this situation for His glory. And I give Him complete and total praise and glory for what He does for me daily. I would like to express my deepest thanks to my SGG friends & family for your prayers that have echoed throughout the halls of the Throne Room of Heaven. It has been so awesome to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in this time of my life when I needed Him most. It was His presence thru each event that strengthened my faith to face each day. The bone donor material came from my left pelvis. Physical therapists are amazed at how quickly Ive regained the use of my left leg and am already walking and climbing stairs. My arm will be in a cast for 3 months then therapy will begin to regain use of my fingers & hand. I expect the Lord to be in control of a speedy recovery of that also. Thanks again and Blessings to You All.
