For the third weekend in a row Scottish Wild Salmon Company have attempted to illegally fish by leaving their leader nets in past the 6pm Friday deadline. The River Baillifs again cut out one of the leader nets and the Police were called. Scottish Wild Salmon Company then grudingly removed the last leader net. Our crew will be monitoring the beaches closely to ensure that no seals are shot this weekend. Any shooting would definitely be outside of their licence. Our volunteers will intervene if any attempt is made to shoot seals. Any evidence of shooting will also be reported to the police.
