“…For thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the glory, for ever. Amen”. (Matthew 6 vs 13). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. As we conclude our meditation on the Lord’s Prayer, It is instructive to observe Scriptures’ closing remark on the Lord’s Prayer, it says, “For thine is the Kingdom, and the Power and the glory”. So apart from talking about the Kingdom and the Power, Scriptures also talked about the glory of God. The Hebrew word that explains ‘Glory’ is the word ‘KABOD’, which is interpreted to mean weight or heaviness. So, when the Scriptures talked about the glory of God, it was also referring to the weight and the heaviness of God. Scripture was referring to the same glory of God that was revealed in 1 Kings 8,when the priests could not stand to minister because the glory of the LORD filled the temple. It was also referring to the same glory that Moses experienced in Exodus 33-34, when he came in contact with God and his face became so radiant that people could not gaze on him. The glory that raised Lazarus from the dead despite being dead and decayed for four days. Friend, when the glory of God is made manifest in you,it will transform you totally so you could become who God wants you to be. When the glory of God is revealed in you, even the dead and decayed things in your destiny will come back to life. When the glory of God is revealed in and through you, people will see God through you. When the glory of God falls on you, no power of darkness can stand before you. The brightness of God’s glory will take away every darkness in you and around you. The weight of God’s glory will subdue every heaviness that the enemy has designed against you. Pray with me, “Lord,let the weight of your glory fall on me, and may the radiance of your Glory shine in me and through me”. Have a Victorious Thursday!
