For those of you born in the fifties and sixties, do you remember, as the days after Christmas wound down to New Years Eve, how we would listen to our transistor radios tuned into New York Citys WABC 77 AM for the countdown of the top 100 songs of the year? And Cousin Brucie was the host? Then, we had an ear plug......just one, and we had to move the dial ever so precisely to tune in. And if we were good little girls and boys, we probably received from Santa, a new-fangled portable reel to reel tape recorder so we could record our favorite hits from the radio. I used to record my parents arguing and play it back to them , only to be threatened to have it taken away. And when they did make true on their threat, I would listen to them play their argument back and laugh like hell. I hope all Keyport Kids make lasting happy memories in 2015. Happy New Year!
