We got our marriage license! Yes, in case youve never been married, you need an actual license from the city BEFORE you get married. Then the wedding official signs the license at the actual ceremony. We went down to City Hall and I didnt know what to expect. I thought it would be similar to getting a drivers license. I breezed through the written exam: full name, date of birth, how often does your wife-to-be yell at you, whos the boss, etc. Easy enough. But their was no road test. I thought there would be at least a quick test drive to make sure I can handle her ;) Poor Susan. Shes fully aware the she will soon be stuck with me and my bad sense of humor for a VERY long time :) :)
