For those of you who are couples - do you do most things together? For example, watch tv together (even if its not your favorite show), go to bed together (even if YOU arent tired yet), run errands together (even though you dont need anything at the store - nor would you EVER buy anything at the store where they need to go)??? I love my time w/my husband, so yes, Ill sit through a game that I may not really care about watching and he goes to bed when Im tired w/me and will just lay there so that I have a warm body to lay against while he watches a few more minutes of tv. Honestly, I dont care what Im watching or doing, I just want to be with him. We dont have to be talking, heck we dont even have to be snuggling - but its really nice to just be in his company (and if I want to lean over and give him a big ol wet kiss...well its just nice that I CAN). I truly love my time with him. And it certainly goes both ways - he puts my wants/needs in front of his own all the time. Well Saturday night we put a movie in, and well, I just DONT DO scary movies! Like HATE them! Not b/c they arent entertaining but b/c....well I dont need more crazy to think about. I dont need those sick images in my head, I mean - I can barely watch the news! So I jump a lot and I throw my hands up, peek through my fingers - Im the tell me when its over girl haha sad I know - but I HATE them! So were having date night and I always have no idea what were about to watch (as hes in charge of Netflix and he likes to be in control of the list - Im more of the chick flick/funny feel good movies, although I certainly can get into the action ones). So I say what are we watching? and his reply World War Z. He knows what my reaction is going to be so immediately waits for my complaining, so I give him that stare (no words are needed - he knows haha) .....and we carry on. Well not even 10 minutes into it my heart is RACING like a mad woman, my feet are sweating and Im holding my hands over my face the entire time! I cant go through and hr and 1/2 of this!!!! So Im like babe seriously, this can be a movie that you watch on your own - I want no part of this one. And by the way - what is the zombie craze!? I just dont get it and watching 10 minutes of that movie proved to me that I will NEVER get it! People chasing down other people like killer dogs, taking children, walking around in the same room day after day snapping at the air!? I DONT GET IT!?!? Ok so back to the movie - well he shut it off, thank god! What a charming man I have ;) So fast forward to Sunday afternoon by the pool....he says why dont you start drinking so you fall asleep early and Ill watch the movie HAHAHHA (which was my idea when I told him this could be a movie that he watches himself). So b/c its the weekend and I miss my man all week, I climb into bed next to him with one of my new books and try not to pay attention to the obnoxious characters that are bug-eyed banging their face into the glass and snarling at me from the screen. All and all it was a very nice night hahaha
