For those who dont seem to believe that Jesus coming back out from the Most Holy Place (thereby opening up the way and assimilating the church into it)... Christ was offered once [at His first appearance, v. 26] to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, FOR (eis - in order to obtain) salvation (Heb. 9:28). I.e., NOT with salvation (per some versions), but FOR salvation, implying that His return from out of the MHP was an essential part of fulfilled/finished salvation, something which could NOT be obtained before that return (cf. Rom. 13:11b).
