For us to live as a people, O God, You ask only that we imitate the content of Your holiness. To support and give aid to each other’s weaknesses; to tell the truth that lives among all of us, and to light and direct on the right path those who wander. These mark our vocation. Strengthen us in this Lenten prayer to act more clearly as Your disciples so that our faith will be seen in our deeds today and forever +++++ +++++ 224 +++++ +++++ We thank You, O God, that You set before us a vision that makes us a people. When there is lack, we will fill in, and when there is loss, we will supply, when there is darkness, we will give light. Your directions are clear. Send us into Your vineyard with the strength and courage to continue the work of Your salvation so that our Lenten journey will reveal Your kin[g]dom in our midst today and forever
